Welcome to the Soho Rowing Club website
Soho Rowing Club is a non-profit club established in 2010 to bring together London’s gay rowers and their supporters. We’ve grown from a small network of gay rowers, holding various events to bring rowers from different clubs together, to become an incorporated members club.
We organise rowing trips throughout the year and crews for various competitions including the Stonewall Regatta, the World Out Games in Antwerp 2013, the World Gay Games in Cleveland 2014, the Euro Games in 2015 and eventually the Gay/Out Games in London 2018 among others in between. We will be organising the first crews to represent Great Britain at such competitions in years; a travesty that this has not happened before now in our eyes and a cornerstone of what we want to achieve as a club.
We have grown steadily in the past couple of years, attracting interest from highly experienced rowers to complete novices and we hope this continues.
For those who don’t wish to row but want to come to some of our fabulous events we have a social membership (aka 'Friends of Soho RC') which allows you to support our club whilst enjoying some of the treats our social calendar has to offer.
